2025年8月1日 最近在ag百家乐ag百家乐健康中心举行的DAISY颁奖典礼特别感人。 除了通常的行政领导和员工聚会，一位前病人的家属也在场，以表彰他们提名的护理优秀奖的护理人员，Aerin Rumrill， BSN， RN。

拉姆里尔于2022年作为一名新的护理专业毕业生加入ag百家乐谷健康中心，自2023年初以来一直在肿瘤科工作。 正是在这个病房里，他因对奥黛丽·加西亚（Audrey Garcia）娴熟而富有同情心的护理而获得了意外的认可。加西亚今年3月因癌症去世。 Pia Lindstrom and Phil Garcia, Audrey’s sister and brother tearfully shared their appreciation for Rumrill.

“I cannot say enough about the care you provided not only to Audrey, but also to us,” Pia Lindstrom  told Rumrill. “It meant the world to Audrey when she was sick and knowing you were with her when we were not, provided an extra layer of comfort. You are not only an extraordinary nurse, you are an exceptional man.”

Rumrill’s passion for his profession is deeply personal. “Both of my parents passed away from cancer,” Rumrill explained. “So I feel like I know what the family goes through and I bring that understanding to their journey as well. 它允许我ag百家乐提供一些可能是独特的见解。 It is a privilege to have something positive come from my loss.”

In addition to the DAISY Award healing touch statue, certificate and other honoree gifts, Lindstrom  handed Rumrill a card from the family saying, “When we think of Audrey, even in our grief, we connect with something just as powerful and that is the care you gave her and we feel very blessed.”

“I like to go home every shift knowing I did my very best for every patient and family,” said Rumrill. “Sometimes though, you don’t know the impact you’re having and this award and encounter reminds me, I really do make a difference.”
